BENEATH THE MASSACRE Offers Post-Tour Update

November 19, 2007

French-Canadian death metal band BENEATH THE MASSACRE has just completed the Radio Rebellion tour alongside BEHEMOTH, JOB FOR A COWBOY and GOJIRA. The group has issued the following update: "So one more U.S. tour over. That was the fourth since May '07 and the last of the year.

"The Radio Rebelion Tour was by far the best thing we ever been on. We'd like to thank the sponsors, the agencies and every musician and crew members of GOJIRA, JOB FOR A COWBOY and BEHEMOTH; We'll miss you guys! Mention of honor to the Atlanta, Hollywood, Denver, San Francisco, and Worcester shows: You guys were amazing! And of course, as always Toronto and Montreal represented as fuck for the Canadian part of the tour. Special thanks to the lights guy in NYC for overusing strobe lights and making Elliot [Desgagnés, vocals] trip on stage — FUCKING PRICELESS. And of course, we have to apologize to the people in Philadelphia; we'll be back, don't worry.

"Besides that, we're taking some time off the road to write new material. We will be doing a few headlining shows in Canada... Then our first European tour in January. And we'll soon anounce our upcoming tour in the U.S. Stay tuned!!"

Footage of BENEATH THE MASSACRE performing the track "Society's Disposable Son" live can be viewed at this location.

Continuing to support the band's Prosthetic Records debut, "Mechanics of Dysfunction", BENEATH THE MASSACRE has already toured North America several times, while early next year the band will make its first trek to Europe, alongside MISERY INDEX and fellow Canadians DESPISED ICON. The band has also shot a video with director Kevin Custer (MADBALL, THE DESTRO, LIGEIA) for the track "Society's Disposable Son".
